All our camps have a qualified chef and kitchen staff with professional experience in preparing meals for young children and teenagers. The chef is in charge of planning and preparing a well balanced and attractive diet. The kitchen staff members help with the preparation, keeping the facilities clean and serving the campers.
For each meal, campers can usually choose from 2-3 options while a salad and fruit bar are always available. Special dietary needs such as those relating to allergies, vegetarians, etc can be accommodated provided that Village Camps is advised in advance. Each summer we welcome children from all cultural and religious backgrounds and the chef always takes this into consideration when planning the choice of menus available. Some activities like International Night give campers the opportunity to put their cooking skills to the test by preparing a traditional dish from their country which is then proudly presented to everyone at camp and enjoyed during the international night feast.
