Summer Camp YPO-JLU

Are you ready for an action-packed summer in the pristine beauty of the Swiss Alps? Within 24 hours, a flurry of campers had jet set from all around the world to touch down landed in Geneva - they were from Canada, the Netherlands, the UK, US, India, all making the Alpine Classic Hotel in Leysin their new home for the next week.
Everyone is already excited with the jammed pack schedule of activities. Some of the campers had never been to Switzerland before; others had never even flew out of their own country before until this trip! We were all getting to know each other when we arrived. The councillors had a bunch of games to play, from ice breakers and name games - everyone was getting to know each other right off the bat.
When it was time to have our first meal together in the dining hall, the campers were amazed at the wide selection that is the buffet. The buffet is housed in a traditional Swiss alpine interior, so it looks like we were eating in an old chalet! The stunning views of the alps were all around us too.
It was then time for the campers to get their creative juices going, to make name tags for themselves so everyone can get acquainted with who they were. But by 22:00, the campers were headed upstairs to unpack and settle into their rooms with their new roommates for the week. As they head to sleep, everyone was already excited about what this week of adventure could hold.
- Breakfast: American style breakfast - bacons, eggs, etc.
- Lunch: Beef stew, rice, chicken mushroom
- Dinner: Spaghetti, salad, turkey, pork stew
