Summer Camp YPO-JLU
Climbing New Heights and a Night in Montreux
We started our morning off learning how to rock climb. For those who already had experience, they went through a quick refresher, before joining up to tie, belay, and support each other as they expertly manoeuvred to the top. For the others, the course was more intensive, as they learned the intricacies of the knots, the safest way to belay, and the art of climbing and descending. By the end, the newbies moved onto the tougher lines. We couldn't be prouder of the campers as they cheered each other on and kept them safe on those rock walls.
After Bianca Miller's talk about personal branding, campers dressed to the nines for an evening in Montreux. After debarking the bus, everyone was given some cash-money to enjoy the plethora of street food available- from typical swiss cuisine to foods from all corners of the world. They explored the festival at their own pace, while watching musicians perform along the banks of Lake Geneva, shopping at specialty stalls for local goods, and watching the sun set over the mountains.
A perfect evening after such a dynamic day.
