Earth! Water! Fire! Air! Festival Friday is Here!
Bringing in the Earth, the Air, the Water and the Fire elements!
In the morning our campers went off to their sign up activity of either Tennis, Dance, Language, Adventure or Sport Camp. The Adventure Camp had a fun morning of nature games in the forest to play a bunch of games designed to both entertain and teach our campers about the ecosystem and sustainability. The Sports Camp played Pitch games, and Dance, Language Camps were busy in their classrooms for the morning.
Just before lunch, everyone made their way up to Prafandaz, a beautiful view point, for a delicious barbeque meal of hotdogs, hamburgers, baked potatoes and donuts to celebrate one of our favourite all camp activity, Festival Friday!!! The campers were split into different elements (Earth, Air, Water and Fire), and together created their own awesome team chants, and spent the whole day taking part in friendly competition of tug of war and relay races to decide which element would be this sessions champions.
Our elements spent the afternoon competing against each other in fun field based games including relay races and tug-of-war, they collected points to see who would become the new champions!
The field games were finished but the competition wasn't over as back at camp our counsellors had been working hard to transform the whole camp into a Carnival filled with fun parlour games and even more opportunities to win points for their teams. Campers spent their afternoon playing awesome games like Strong Man, Oily Pig, Balloon Stomp, Hot Shot, Candy Guess, Karaoke and much more!
- Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Yogurt, Toast, Cereal, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Juices
- Lunch: Hamburgers, Chicken Hot Dogs, Baked Potatoes, Doughnuts
- Dinner: Cuscus, Salad, Steamed veggies, Beef Stew, Pasta, Broccoli, Apple pie
