Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Active Thursday!!
Here in Leysin the campers had another fun filled day of activities.
This morning the Blues and Reds returned from their over night adventure hike to Pic Chaussey. They were able to complete the summit and had an unforgettable experience. Meanwhile half of the Yellows went climbing while the other half partook in a photo scavenger hunt. The Greens were at the gym playing dodgeball and a various other activities than they thoroughly enjoyed. LTC were also on a scavenger hunt around the village and took part in an Amazing Leadership challenge. At camp English and French language continued on their lessons and Tennis camp were on the courts practicing their swings and shots.
After our delicious lunch everyone went to sign up to represent a country for International Night which will take place next Thursday which all the campers are really looking forward to.
This afternoon the weather was a little damp and cloudy so the Yellows played their Amazing Race game inside. The building echoed with many laughs and excitement as the campers teams raced against each other. Meanwhile the Reds played their Big Red Mashup and they also had a fun filled afternoon with various challenges against one another. The Blues had sign up activities which entailed archery and beach volleyball. While LTC had a lecture from David Allen.
The fun didn't stop there.... The Greens got together in the evening for their slumber party and had a piñata, lots of games and a teddy bear story before they curled up and went to sleep after a long day. The Yellows had lots of fun when they were given the opportunity to play football, basketball and street hockey. The Reds put their skates on and went ice skating for the evening. The Blues had Street Night which involved street art, basketball and street dancing. And finally LTC were planning their EVENT X activity.
Everyone had a great day and are excited for Festival Friday tomorrow.
