Fun in the Sun!
We had another jam packed day of activities here at VC Leysin, This morning the Blues headed out for an adrenaline packed morning of Mountain Biking! Everyone did an incredible job of getting down the local trails and even tested their technique on a rhythm section. The Reds set off to the Forest to learn all about wilderness survival, they learned location and recovery techniques and tons of new survival skills while the Yellows set off around the Village to complete a Scavenger Hunt!
In the afternoon our campers had a huge selection of activities to choose from, The Reds tested their Aim as they joined our Archery Specialist Naceur while others tested their strength and agility as they strapped on their harnesses and conquered climbing in the quarry. The Yellows however were busy cooling off in the hot sun with a bunch of wacky water games including a huge slip 'n' slide and a game of water balloon battleships.
In the evening the Blues set out to become the next Banksy as they designed and built their own stencils and created some impressive spray-paint art. The Reds dawned their deerstalkers and followed in the footsteps of Sherlock holmes as they deduced who the villain of camp was in a game of "Murder Mystery" while the Yellows set off to the Ice Rink to show off their ice skating skills!
- Breakfast: Boiled eggs, cereals, toast, fresh fruit and juices
- Lunch: Mozzerella and spinach pockets, macaroni pasta, tomato sauce, shrimp tomato sauce, soup, salad bar, fresh fruit and chocolate coconut cake
- Dinner: Roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes, pesto pasta, carrot and herb soup, creme brulee, fresh fruit salad
