Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Camp Starts Here!
It's the first day of Camp, the sun is shining and our campers awoke this morning feeling refreshed after a good nights sleep and ready to start their adventure!
This morning our STEM Robotics campers had their first day exploring the world of robotics as they were challenged to build and program a wacky walking robots while our French, English Language, Dance Camp, and Film Academy were busy settling into their classrooms and spending time meeting their counsellors and fellow classmates.
Outside of Camp the Yellows, Reds & Blues headed out for a fun morning of Team Building activities, teaming up with campers of all different age groups to have some fun in the woods while got to know each other!
In the Afternoon the Reds raced off to a local beauty spot to compete against each other in some field games and cooling off with a huge water fight! Elsewhere the Yellows were enjoying themselves with a little Tennis and indoor bouldering!
As the evening rolled in our counsellors put on their hilarious costumes and joined the Reds and Blues in a nice break from the hot sun with a game of Dodgeball while the Yellows prepared to save camp from an invasion of robots from the future! They used their quick thinking and quicker feet to shut down the rickety robots before everyone at camp was captured! An exciting end to a perfect first day of camp!
- Breakfast: French Toast, Cereals, Yogurt, Toast, Fruit & Fruit Juices
- Lunch: Spring Rolls, Rice, Pasta, Bolognaise, Salad Bar, Fruit & a variety of deserts!
- Dinner: Beef Ragu, Polenta, Pasta, Sauteed carrots, Salad Bar, Fruit & Coconut topped chocolate & vanilla sponge cake
