Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
An action packed day in the Alps!
It's a beautiful day here at VC Leysin, the sun is shining and this morning we woke to the sound of trumpets in celebration of Swiss National Day!
The day kicked off with a whole bunch of action packed activities, the Yellows strapped into their harnesses and tied up their figure 8 knots to tackle one of the favorite local climbing spots, and what an awesome job they all did! The Reds and Blues headed to the Forest for a game of "Lost in the Suchet" and put their new found tracking skills to good use while the Greenies made their way to the sports centre for a fun morning of Swimming and Tennis.
After Lunch the Blues had a heap of activities to pick from with some joining our sports specialist Jonny for an afternoon of Adrenaline filled Mountain Biking. The Reds warmed up with a game of Ultimate Frisbee and Street Hockey before jumping straight into "Hardcore Parcour" and the Greens and Yellows had some slip & sliding fun in the sun with the Big Grellow Activity!
After an action packed day the Blues had the chance to rest their muscles and challenge their minds instead in a fun game of Trivia while the Reds headed to the college Gym for a friendly game of dodgeball.
Finally back at camp the Greens and Yellows had a visit from a local Zoo Keeper, but upon arrival ALL of the animals escaped! It was up to our Greens and Yellows to outsmart these critters and return all the animals to the Zoo Keeper!

- Lunch: Mozzerella pockets, macaroni pasta, tomato sauce, shrimp tomato sauce, soup, salad bar, fresh fruit
- Dinner: Grilled Chicken, Mashed Potato, Grilled Tomatoes, Pesto Pasta, Salad Bar, Fruit and Flan Caramel
