Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Fun in the Sun!
It was an absolutely stunning day in the Alps and the whole camp had the opportunity to get out and explore the local countryside and it's beautiful vistas.
The Red and Blue Adventure group headed out early this morning to begin their Adventure Hut hike, they spent their day taking in some of Switzerlands most beautiful scenery and after a hard days hiking in the sunshine settled in for a BBQ and a peaceful nights sleep in a quaint mountain hut in the hills. Even the Reds and Blues back at camp the opportunity to explore the local mountains with their own afternoon hike, then in the evening the reds finished their day roasting marshmellows over an open campfire while the Blues cooled off after a hot day in the sun at the local Ice Skating rink.
The Greenies and Yellows had an equally fun day with the Greens heading out this morning on a half day hike followed by a mid day campfire while the Yellows tackled a local climbing wall and had an afternoon of Street Hockey, Archery and Handball before spending their evening in the shade of the college gym with a friendly game of dodgeball.
- Breakfast: Boiled Eggs, Cereals, Fruit Juices, Fruit
- Lunch: Chicken Curry, Rice, Pasta & Bolognaise, Salad Bar & Creme Caramel
- Dinner: Beef & chicken skewers, french fries, peas, tofu, pasta, pasta sauce, salad bar and delicious profiteroles for desert!
