Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
First day of camp is finally here!
It's the first day of camp and everyone awoke this morning feeling fresh after their long journeys to camp yesterday.
Adventure camp spent their morning discovering puzzles in the forest that would put their mind and bodies to the test while the Greenies met with Zoe and friends to take a tour of beautiful Leysin and then headed on an Animal Safari, then after a delicious lunch they met with our fantastic Archery specialist Naceur to see if they had what it takes to become the next Robin Hood!
The Reds and Blues spent their afternoon getting to know each other with some fun team building games with the "Big Blue Activity" and the "Raging Red Race Off" while the Yellows headed off for a fun game of Tennis and to test their climbing skills with a little indoor bouldering.
In the evening the Blues headed to the local college Gym for a friendly game of Dodgeball while the Reds headed into the Forest for a game of "Survival" where they had to avoid natural disasters whilst trying to avoid becoming a part of the food chain!
Back at camp the Greens and Yellows teamed up for a game of "Terminator", it was up to our brave campers to free the camp and shut down the robots before everyone was captured!
it's up to the campers to shut down all the robots before everyone is captured! The Reds spent the afternoon learning to become professional "Golfball" players while the Blues were dodging and weaving in the gym during a friendly game of Dodgeball!
In the evening it was time for our brave Greenies and Yellows to save our camp in my favorite game "Terminator", it's up to the campers to shut down all the robots before everyone is captured!
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, toast
- Lunch: Spagetti bolognes, spring rolls. soup, salad bar, fruit salad, lemon tart
- Dinner: Beef ragu and tofu tomato sauce for vegetarians, polenta, pasta, sauted carrots, coconut chocolate cake, salad bar, fruit
