Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's Festival Friday!!!
Festival friday is finally here at Village Camps Leysin!!! The morning began with Yellows Adventure heading out for some entertaining team building while Red Adventure headed to the suchet for some fun in the forest. Greenies stayed at camp to get a head start on their face-painting as well as some arts and crafts for the Festivities, while the blues spent the morning climbing. Afterwards everyone headed up to one of Leysins most famous beauty spots to begin FESTIVAL FRIDAY!
A great afternoon was had by all, a delicious BBQ was served up with donuts for desert and then the games began with campers and counsellors splitting off into teams (Earth, Fire, Water, Air) and going head to head while competing against each other in relay races and a tug of war.
The competition continued back at Camp where the counselors had built a Camp Carnival with teams earning even more points in games like Strong Man, Letter-box, Baloon Stomp, Hot Shot and more! Plus some just for fun activities like Caricature Drawing and Face-Painting!
So much energy, laughter, and team bonding from all the campers and counsellors!!!
- Breakfast: Fried eggs, cereals, bread and spreads, fresh fruit, juices
- Lunch: Village Camps BBQ special of burgers and hot dogs, potato salad, backed potato, donuts, ice tea and juices
- Dinner: Roasted salmon, boiled potatoes, steamed spinach, macaroni cheese, curried lentils, salad bar, rasberry and vanilla ice cream
