Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Thrilling Thursday in the Alps!
This morning all of our Campers stocked up their water bottles and poured on their sunscreen before setting off for an action packed day in the sun, and it was a scorcher!
There were lots of activities happening this morning with Red Adventure making their way home after their overnight stay in the Mountain Hut, Blue Adventure taking on the local trails for a morning of Mountain Biking and Yellow Adventure climb! Back at Camp our language students continued to work on their projects while Film Academy continued work on their awesome short movies which will be screened for the whole camp to see next week!
In the afternoon some of our brave Blues took on the challenge of joining our climbing specialist to tackle one of the popular local climbing spots while the others had fun in the sun with a little Archery and Bob Sledding! The Yellows took part in a photo scavenger hunt while they explored Leysin and later on joined in the action in VC Leysin's "Extreme Games".
The Greenies spent the morning playing a friendly game of dodge-ball and in the evening got themselves cozy in the "Teddy Bears slumber party".
The action wasn't quite over for the Yellows and Reds, with the sun still high in the sky our campers headed to the local sports centre with it being the Reds turn to take to the Ice and show off their skating skills. The Yellows had a choice between Football, Basketball and Street Hockey while back at camp the Blues took a break from all the physical exercise to exercise their artistic skills instead!
After such a big day it's safe to say that counsellors and campers will be sleeping soundly tonight!

- Lunch: Hawaiin or Margarita Pizza, Pasta Tortellini, Salad Bar, Fruit & Profiteroles
- Dinner: Lamb Chops, Potato Gratin, Green Beans, Pasta with Tomato or Salmon Sauce, Delicious Salad Bar & Chocolate Mousse
