Summer Camp England
Excursion day!
Yesterday was a very quiet day at camp, since most of the campers were out of site. Golfers and Horse Riders went to their usual training spots an had a fun morning while Performing Arts added some final touches to their Friday performance. Our basketball team trained hard all morning and is expecting an exciting excursion to Leeds tomorrow. Finally, Leadership campers said farewell to their counsellor Dave, who left to prepare the Swiss Leadership Programme. Thank you very much for your work and we hope to see you next year!
The Adventure programme packed their bags and left early to Ripley Castle, where they enjoyed a day packed of camp-related activities like hiking or toasting marshmallows around the fire. We hope they had a good sleep in their tents! Creative Arts went to York center for some crafty shopping and English enjoyed some Escape Rooms, also in York. Our Greenies went to Tropical World, a zoo in Leeds, before joining the adventure programme campers at Ripley Castle.
For those campers who stayed at camp, we had a variety of activities like bootcamp, yoga, tennis, dance and tie dye. In the evening, the Reds had an exciting session of water games and the Blues organized a session of leadership activities for the Yellows.
