Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
Daily Camp Blog – 8th July
The day began with our usual 7:30 a.m. wake-up, followed by breakfast and the morning meeting, where campers were introduced to the day's programme and informed about the activities ahead, along with everything they would need for them.
Campers enrolled in the Language Camp attended their English or German lessons with their teachers, while the rest of the campers set off for a variety of exciting activities. One group travelled by train to a specialised archery centre, where they had the opportunity to develop their archery skills under expert supervision. Another group remained at camp to enjoy an indoor climbing session, led by qualified instructors and carried out with all the appropriate safety equipment. Meanwhile, the remaining campers explored the beautiful surroundings of the camp on a scenic bike ride through the Austrian countryside.
After lunch, the afternoon programme continued with more outdoor fun. One group visited the nearby river and lake, where they enjoyed a relaxing afternoon surrounded by nature, while other campers stayed at camp taking part in activities such as MasterChef, volleyball, and a variety of team games organised by our staff.
Following dinner and some free time, everyone came together for the evening activity—a lively Karaoke Night! Campers not only sang their favourite songs but also added fun performances and choreography, creating a fantastic atmosphere filled with laughter, creativity, and team spirit.
It was another wonderful day full of learning, adventure, and unforgettable memories as our campers continue to make the most of their summer in Austria.
- Breakfast: Bread with cold cuts, yogurt, cereal, and milk
- Lunch: Chili con carne served with rice and various types of salad. There was also some bread on the side. Fruit for dessert
- Dinner: Spiced grilled chicken served with potato nuggets, along with various types of salad and tiramisu for dessert.
