Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Yet another exciting day at VDC!
The sun rose bright and early on another fantastic day of camp. Thursday already looks like its going to be brilliant with all of mini camp off on excursions. The 4s went into Geneva to see some beautiful wonders of nature at the Jardin Botanique and the 5s went to an early morning session at the outdoor pool. The 6s went far from camp today to Signal de Bougy. There they made their very own bread and enjoyed the marvelous jungle gym and fairy garden. The rest of the camp got to try some superb things. The highlight of the day was for the senior groups who made their very own piece of artwork by popping paint-filled balloons with darts! They loved it and they all got to take a piece of their collective artwork home!
In the afternoon some campers went off camp to bowl and swim. SC1 went into the woods to try their hands at rope swinging. SA2 enthusiastically dove into a refreshing trip to Lac Leman, where they hopped onto some kayaks and went gliding on the tranquil lake waters. All in all it was a sweet afternoon to add to the mix. And to make our day even better, snack was one of everyone's favourite, watermelon and brownies!
