Summer Camp VDC Geneva

25th July 2012

Another hot and cloudless day at VDC!

It's already Wednesday and we are still going strong! Camp has been buzzing with activity today as the sun has been shining, it hasn't been too windy and the counsellors and campers all had smiles on their faces. The temperature is rising so get ready for some fun filled days ahead (and lots of sun cream and water). Some groups stayed at camp today, but many went off into the world. The SC1s went kayaking and got really wet, while the SB1s went down to the bowling alley to see how many strikes they could get. The 5s went off to Signal de Bougy to go see the animals, play in the park and even make their own bread. The SA1s joined the 5s at Signal, but went to do the ropes course and dared to walk across tight ropes and little bridges to get from tree to tree. The SA2s went hiking in the Jura and got a little wet from the passing rain, but they made it to the end, having admired the fascinating views from the top and the lovely Swiss cows.

There were lots of amazing activities taking place at camp. In music, groups started learning and practicing a song for our next Special Day. Out on the Luna field, groups enjoyed doing relay races, preparing themselves for the next mini Olympics and in dance, the music could be heard booming from the studio as many dance moves were practiced and perfected.

Make sure to get some rest tonight, tomorrow promises to be another sunny and wonderful day at VDC!
