Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Friday Finale!
The time has come for our last day at camp! It's beautiful to see the life-long friendships that were formed these two short weeks! Our campers made sure to seize their day and make the best out of it with their friends!
Language camp, Lab Explorers and Tennis revisited their experiences and lessons of their time spent in Leysin and they reflected on how much they managed to learn in such a short time!
The Greenies had a long day of packing and preparing for their performance during Friday Finale! They also had the chance to go to the village for some last day shopping! Yellows and Reds faced their respective ''Adventure Finale'' where they had to put together everything they learned during camp to complete challenges like shelter building, fire making, tightrope walk, rock climbing knots and many more! The Blues headed down to Aigle, to Adventure Park, for a High Ropes experience, where they climbed and hanged from one tree to another and finished it off with the huge zipline!
In the afternoon all our campers had some time to pack and go to the village to shop!
For dinner, our campers got to watch slideshows with pictures of their best memories from camp. They then moved to the auditorium where they shared the projects that they were working on for the past two weeks. Language camp and Lab Explorers presented videos of their work while the Greenies stole the show with their skit ''Turning the Camp Upside Down''! After an exciting last secret friends, chairs were moved to the side and the party started! Campers were dancing and exchanging emotional hugs as they were making the most of their last moments at this year's camp!
We would like to thank all our campers for their joy and grateful spirit, for being such great listeners and participants in the activities we prepare with such care! We hope the friendships you formed last for a lifetime and see you next year!
