Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
International Night on Thursday!
Today our Green campers started their day by preparing for the eagerly anticipated international night! This is always a highlight of camp and the children were so excited to prepare delicious meals for the campers to enjoy this evening.
The Yellows, Reds, and Blues all made the most of the beautiful weather today. The Reds woke up bright and early to tackle the high ropes, taking the challenge in their stride, and finishing with the 350m zip line!
The Yellows participated in the “lost”activity, where they learnt how to make fire and construct shelter as the Blues enjoyed a particularly exciting rafting-adventure. Fun in the sun was had by all!
In the afternoon our campers split up once again to either play the ''United Nations'' capture the flag game, while the other half stayed at camp to prepare their skits for tonight's ''International Night''.
For dinner the campers got to taste plates from all over the world prepared by the campers under our counsellor's supervision. After eating, they gathered at the auditorium to participate in the ''International Night'' and present their sketches to the rest of the camp!
