We Move!
It has been a very active day for everyone!
Our Greenies took some time to prepare for tonight's slumber party in the morning, putting all efforts to make it as fun as it gets! In the afternoon they took on our Quarry! Our tall rocks might scare some people but not our brave campers who didn’t hesitate to get to the very top! Tonight they will be getting their very own event in the Slumber Party where they will dance, sing and definitely treat themselves to some sweets!
The Yellows split into two groups this morning to head to different activities. Half of them climbed on the quarry while the other half walked all around famous sites in Leysin for their scavenger hunt. In the afternoon they competed in the Amazing Race, where they had to run in the forest and find the hidden counselors who would give them some challenges to complete. After dinner, they headed to Old Sports to play different street sports like football, basketball and beach volleyball.
Our Red campers came back from their Mountain Hut adventure while others headed to the forest to learn how to build shelters in nature! After lunch they also had their own event in the Big Red Mashup, an exclusive activity with many fun water games! Their last activity for the day was very relaxing but not less demanding as they went ice-skating in our local ring!
For the adventure camp, it was the Blue camper’s time to head to the mountain hut where they’ll be spending the night! The other campers followed their own programme with sports and languages! They all came together in the afternoon to head to Temeley, the hike to get to the cheese and ice-cream discovery with jaw-dropping views! They finished their day with a campfire, marshmallows and smores!
They will all be coming together tomorrow for Festival Friday, stay tuned!
