Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Another Sunny Day in Switzerland!
The warm sun shone brightly throughout the day as the campers went about living their best camp life!
Bright and early, the Yellows had a session at Rock Climbing and did themselves proud, conquering heights and fears! They went on to scurry through the forest looking for hidden counsellors and solving riddles in "The Amazing Race"! They wrapped up their action-packed day by playing either street hockey or basketball!
Tennis Camp spent their morning honing their skills and smashing it on the court! Performing arts also blew us all away with their beautiful ballet practice! STEM and languages continued to make wonderful progress with their courses!
After a lovely breakfast, all of the young Greenies played a few fun games and then gathered in the reception hall with their PJs on and their snuggly teddies to prepare for their upcoming sleepover! They then participated in a parkour obstacle course to burn off all their energy before finishing off their evening with a special treat from our Blues, who dressed up and gave them storytime. The stories were about Little Purple Riding Hood and the Scary Big Bad Tiger! They all absolutely loved it and drifted off to sleep with their imaginations running wild from the stories!
The Reds kicked off their day with a scavenger hunt followed by the exhilarating "Big Red Mashup" event! They ended their day with a cosy campfire, smores, chocolate bananas, frisbee and football, all while being surrounded by the breathtaking Swiss Alps during sunset!
The Blues embarked on a mountain adventure hike today. There is nothing better than getting to explore Switzerland's natural beauty! Then they battled it out in the evening activity "Mastermind Duel!"
All in all, today was another massive success! A big thanks to all our campers for continuing to throw themselves into everything Village Camps has to offer!
P.S. A very happy birthday to our Greenies Councillor, Nadjib!!! He is an absolute wonder who loves spending the evening with the greenies even on his evening off. Thank you for all you do for the camp!
