Mid-Week-Madness!

It's Wednesday already and the fun isn't stopping! The morning started with the red girls heading to the woods for "Forest Fun"! A series of stations were set up with different games to play: slacklining, frisbee golf, frisbee bowling, circus tricks and the wonderfully mad "steal the squirrel's pinecones"! The Reds continued their fun with tennis, mini golf, bouldering, swimming and even mountain biking!!! In contrast to their active morning, the Reds attended a trivia night in the evening to flex their brains rather than their muscles!
The STEM group were hugely successful with programming their robots to navigate an obstacle course, and the language classes were making leaps and bounds of progress! Yellow rock climbers faced their fears and braved the quarry, while scavenger hunters ran all over Leysin! They went on to have a blast at archery, the gym, dance, art, street hokey and street basketball!
The blues on the overnight hut hike arrived home to camp again and had a sporty day in the sports camp playing football, parkour, beach volleyball and ending the day with ice skating!
The highlight of the day had to be the "Petting Zoo" activity for the yellows and greens, where they chased animals (our counsellors in hilarious costumes) around camp and then had to use materials they had won earlier in the game to create a way of protecting an egg when it was dropped from a roof! Truly hysterical!
P.s. A huge happy birthday to our yellow group camper Nolan! We hope you had a wonderful birthday here at camp!
