Welcome to Village Camps- Summer 2023!
The sun has risen over a new summer at Village Camps, Leysin! Unforgettable memories, experiences and new friends await the campers that arrived today!
Our counsellors (and an awesome balloon arch) gave the campers a warm welcome! Moments after the first campers started arriving the camp became abuzz with laughter, music and chatter as both old friends and new ones greeted each other! Campers and counsellors played badminton, table tennis, basketball, hula hooped, created their personalized name tags, rock climbed, and MUCH more after checking in!
After saying goodbye to their parents, as the campers sat outside the main building and were briefed on camp life, the previously cloudy sky opened up and the sun poured in… a good omen, for sure! All the counsellors performed a dance for the campers and introduced themselves- and soon many campers were joining in as well!!!
The campers split up into their colour groups and after a yummy dinner, played a multitude of different ice-breaker games with each other and their colour group counsellors! Tuckered out, they all headed to bed to rest up for another day of exciting adventures!
