Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Water Water Everywhere!
Our first full day together at camp started with a bang! The campers are all here and there is a buzz in the air.
The day kicked off with the campers chosen activities which this year includes tennis academy, language camp, STEM robotics, adventure camp and sports camp. The robotics campers started with some cool car designs, the language campers got to know each other with some vocabulary games and some conversation practice and our campers in adventure and sport head down to the forest and sports fields,
After lunch we got ready for our afternoon, the weather could not make up its mind but that was no bother to our campers as todays activities were WATER games! Outside of Camp the Yellows, Reds & Blues had a chance to cool off and get to know their fellow campers with a variety of crazy games including a slip and slide, water balloon battleships and more! Meanwhile the Greens, under the careful instruction of our wonderful archery instructor Naceur, channeled their inner Robin Hood with a session of Archery.
In the Evening, the Reds competed against their counsellors in a round of trivia and then ended the night with a camp fashion show!, the campers rocked the cat walk and showed off their best designs. Elsewhere on camp the Greens and Yellows had a robot invasion to handle! With a mix of cunning, agility and intellect they managed to save camp from the robot take-over and one of the terminators was chosen to be soaked!
- Breakfast: Pancakes with syrup and cereal bar.
- Lunch: beef and potato stew with mashed potato and broccoli. Pasta bar, fruits and yoghurt.
- Dinner: Mac & Cheese + Vegan Mac & Cheese with Salad Bar. Brownies for dessert.
