Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
The BIG day is finally here!
Its finally here, camp is full and our summer has official begun! Today the counsellors prepared a beautiful arrival mural for our arriving campers. We welcomed the campers into the VC world with games and music to get summer rolling. Throughout the day the campers could play all kinds of games, ping pong, chess, fuzzball, or create their personal name tag.
After a long day of games and activities, the campers said farewell to their parents and we all met for our first all-camp meeting. we divided the campers up into their colour groups before heading in for dinner.
After dinner the campers got a building and town tour before the final activity of the day, the get-to-know-your-counselor game! where they played some games and tried to guess some of their counsellors unique and special talents.
When all the fun wrapped up the children went to bed to get ready for an amazing 2 weeks of fun!
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs and cereal bar.
- Lunch: Brunch! - Omlette, spinach crepes, baked beans, tomatoes and a make-your-own sandwich deli bar with Pain au chocolate.
- Dinner: Pasta in tomato sauce with broccoli and chicken shnitzel. cheesecake for desert.
