Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Excursion Day
It is Saturday Excursion Day here at Village Camps, with all colour groups heading out into the world!
In the morning campers loaded up the buses and off they went on their excursion. The Greenies and Yellows headed to Vevey. where they enjoyed an interactive tour to learn the history behind some of Switzerland's most famous chocolate at "Le Maison de Cailler". They were also able to see the full process of chocolate-making and even taste-test a few chocolates themselves! Afterwards they had time to explore Vevey and do some shopping with their counsellors. Back in camp and after diner, Greens and Yellows enjoyed a movie night.
The Reds and Blues had an exciting day as well, starting with their trip to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. During an interactive tour through the different exhibitions, they learned a lot about the Olympic Games. Afterwards there was time to explore the city center of Lausanne and to do some shopping. They finished their excursion day with eating pizza and bowling at Fun Planet.

- Dinner: Chicken Nuggets, Potato Gratin, Zucchini, Pasta, Soup, Side Salad, Chocolate Cake
