A Day Out in the Town!

It is Saturday Excursion Day here at Village Camps, with all colour groups heading out into the world!

In the morning campers loaded up the buses and off they went on their excursion. The Greenies and Yellows headed to Vevey first for shopping and lunch by the lake, the Reds enjoyed an interactive tour to learn the history behind some of Switzerland's most famous chocolate at "Le Maison de Cailler". They were also able to see the full process of chocolate-making and even taste-test a few chocolates themselves! The Blues and LTC had an exciting day as well, starting with their trip to the Natural History Museum in Geneva.

Each colour group enjoyed a picnic lunch in the towns they were in followed by their afternoon activities. The Greens and Yellows headed to the Labyrinthe Adventure Park, where they spent their afternoon in the sun playing on fun slides, games, and huge rides. The Reds went shopping in Lausanne and then headed back to camp. Meanwhile in Geneva, the Blues and LTC also had their shopping time and ended their day at Fun PLanet with pizza and getting their bowling shoes on for some fun in the bowling lanes.

Once back at camp and after dinner time, the Greens, Yellows played epic games of dodgeball and Reds enjoyed a fun games night filled with laughter, t shirt decorations and the ultimate karaoke night!

  • Dinner: Chicken Nuggets, Potato Gratin, Roasted Zucchini, Pasta with carbonara and tomato sauce, Chocolate Tart
