Let's go Earth, Air, Water, and Fire!
Celebrating all of the our planets elements today at Village Camps for Festival Friday!
In the morning our campers went off to their morning activities. Blue Adventure Campers packed up and hiked back down from the mountain hut this morning, whilst Reds headed up to Prafandaz for some Forest Fun, and Yellows and Greens had a lovely morning in the forest playing Nature Games, learning about camouflage, and how to be true earth guardians!
Language Camp continued their curriculum in the VC building and LTC headed to the toboggan field to run team building activities.
Just before lunch, everyone made their way up to Prafandaz, a beautiful view point, for a delicious barbeque meal of hotdogs, hamburgers, baked potatoes and donuts to celebrate one of our favourite all camp activities, Festival Friday!!! The campers were split into different elements (Earth, Air, Water and Fire), and together created their own awesome team chants, and spent the whole day cheering each other on and taking part in friendly competition of tug of war and relay races.
After a full day of enjoying the beautiful sun and lake mountain views, all the Campers settled down for a cozy movie night in the auditorium.
- Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Yogurt, Toast, Cereal, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Juices
- Lunch: Hamburgers, Chicken Hot Dogs, Baked Potatoes, Doughnuts
- Dinner: Beef Stew, Chickpea and roasted pepper stew, Couscous, Salad, Steamed veggies, Pasta, Broccoli, Apple pie
