Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Festival Friday!
It's a special day here at VC Leysin as our color groups came together to take part in a huge all camp activity. The campers were split into different elements (Earth, Air, Water and Fire) and spent the whole day taking part in friendly competition to decide which element would be this sessions champions.
The Yellow adventure camp had a great morning as they headed to a local forest to play a bunch of games designed to both entertain and teach our campers about the ecosystem and sustainability. After all of the morning activities were over it was finally time to kick off FESTIVAL FRIDAY!!!
In the afternoon all of our campers took a trip to the beautiful Prefendaz lookout point where they filled up on a delicious BBQ and tasty donuts before putting on their face paint and splitting off into their groups to create and perform some awesome team chants, then it was finally time for the competition to begin.
Our elements spent the afternoon competing against each other in fun field based games including relay races and tug-of-war, they collected points to see who would become the new champions!
The field games were finished but the competition wasn't over as back at camp our counsellors had been working hard to transform the whole camp into a Carnival filled with fun parlour games and even more opportunities to win points for their teams. Campers spent their afternoon playing awesome games like Strong Man, Oily Pig, Baloon Stomp, Hot Shot, Candy Guess, Kareoke and much more!

- Lunch: Hamburgers, Chicken Hot Dogs, Baked Potatoes, Doughnuts
- Dinner: Salmon, Spinach, Roasted Potatoes, Spaghetti, Salad Bar, Ice Cream
