Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's Festival Friday!
This morning exciting things were happening in the STEM Robotics lab as they put their carefully constructed battle bots to the test while the Blues & Reds took a trip up to the Prafendaz lookout for some slack-lining, juggling and other activities designed to test their balance, speed and accuracy!
Yellow adventure camp had a fun and educational morning in the shade of the Suchet with a session of "Lost in the Suchet" learning all kinds of rescue and survival skills, after all of the morning activities were over it was finally time to kick off FESTIVAL FRIDAY!!!
The campers were treated to a delicious BBQ in the sun complete with tasty donuts, and after lunch our campers put on their costumes and split off into their groups for a super special "Peter Pan" themed Festival Friday! Campers and counsellors split off into their groups, Tick Tocks Crocadiles or Captain Hooks Pirates and after performing choreographed team chants and lots of cheers it was time for the competition to begin.
The Pesky Pirates and Crafty Crocs spent the afternoon competing against each other in fun field based games including relay races and tug-of-war collecting points to see who would become the new champions of Neverland!
The competition didn't end there as back at camp our counsellors transformed the whole camp into a Carnival filled with fun parlour games and even more opportunities to win points for their teams. Campers spent their afternoon playing awesome games like Strong Man, Oily Pig, Baloon Stomp, Hot Shot, Candy Guess, Kareoke and much more!
- Breakfast: Fried Eggs, Toast, Assorted Cereals, Yogurt & Fruit!
- Lunch: Festival Friday BBQ, Burgers, Sausages, Huge Salad Bar and Iced Donuts for Desert
- Dinner: Salmon, Potatoes, Pasta, Huge Salad Bar and Berry Topped Cheesecake
