Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Campfires, Battling Bots, Climbing and much more!
It's been a terrific Tuesday here in the Swiss Alps, this morning our Language camps launched into another day of fun and studies while the STEM Robotics began building their battle-bots in preparation for tomorrows challenge. Elsewhere the Dance Camp worked on their moves while the Blues strapped on their harnesses and checked their figure 8 knots as they took on the local climbing spot and conquered new heights. The Greens had a relaxing start to the day as they headed off for a morning of Swimming and Tennis.
In the afternoon the Reds chose from a huge variety of activities including Ultimate Frisbee, Archery, Street Hockey and some chose to take on the "Hardcore Parcour" challenge where they sprinted through the forests and took on obstacles designed to challenge their balance, strength & endurance!
The action didn't stop for the Blues as they took on our Mountain Bike route with it's steep hills and fast downhill sections and were treated to some incredible views along the way while Yellows hopped on the Bus and charged off for the "Big Yellow Activity", they spent their time playing tons of fun Team Building games.
After Dinner and a day full of activities the Blues and Reds had the chance to rest their legs and exercise their minds instead with the Blues enjoying an entertaining game of "Are You Smarter Than Your Counsellor" and the Reds going head to head in "Trivia Night".
Away from Camp the Yellows strapped on their skates for an evening of Ice Skating while the Greens strolled up to a local beauty spot and roasted marshmallows on the fire as the sun set on another perfect day in the Alps!
- Breakfast: Porridge oats, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, toast
- Lunch: Mozzerella pockets, macaroni pasta, tomato sauce, shrimp tomato sauce, soup, salad bar, fresh fruit, brownies and chocolate coconut cake
- Dinner: Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes, pasta, carrot and herb soup, creme brulee, fresh fruit salad
