Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Another jam packed day in the Alps!
It's another beautiful day and as the Yellow & Blue adventure camps were waking up in the peaceful hills, the VC building was a hive of activity with the STEM Robotics class continuing work on their crazy contraptions whilst the English Language class got messy in the kitchen with a visit from a local chocolatier.
Elsewhere the Dance camp were busy working on their moves while the French Language camp were working on their movies, they spent their morning putting together entertaining short videos that will be presented to the whole camp during the Friday Finale!
The Yellow adventure team returned in time for lunch from their Mountain Hut challenge, where they took on the Pic Chaussy hike reaching 2330 meters. They woke up bright and early this morning for a Swiss breakfast and a chilling but refreshing swim in Lac Lioson!
The Blue adventure also returned from their camp out at a beautiful view point. After lunch the Blue colour group got a chance to cool down with an evening at Lake Geneva where they spent their afternoon stand up paddle boarding and swimming in the lake, followed by a barbecue cook out.
Following Taco Tuesday lunch and All Camp Meeting, the Reds and Yellows boarded the bus to their various sport sign ups.
The Greens left this morning for an epic over night mountain hut hike, finishing with a camp fire, roasting marshmallows while the remaining campers headed out for an afternoon of "Zing Tong" in the Suchet, where it was up to campers to defeat the evil King Zing and his gang of zingettes!
Well done to everyone who took on the mountain hike excursion in Leysin and Pic Chaussy, what a great accomplishment!

- Lunch: Taco Tuesday! Beef tacos, pasta, tomato sauce, carbonara sauce, salad bar, peach cheesecake, fresh melon
- Dinner: Roasted chicken, cubed potatoes, peas, salad bar, soup, chocolate coconut cake and fresh fruit
