Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's Prom Night!
The final day of camp has arrived and although we are all sad that it is coming to an end today is a day of celebration for all the new friends we have made over the past few weeks and and all the fun experiences we have shared.
In the morning the campers headed off to their programs where they enjoyed their final session and received awards for all their efforts and hard work. Dance camp spent the morning getting in some final practice for their big show tonight and Film Academy made the final touches to their short movies. Elsewhere at camp the Language camp sat down to enjoy the hilarious videos they had put together with their classmates and later received their awards.
In the afternoon all of the campers were treated to a shopping trip and had a little time to pack before the grande premiere of the Film Academies fantastic short movies. Meanwhile our staff launched into action to make sure our campers got the send off they deserve and began setup for the Prom night dinner complete with a beautifully decorated dining room, slideshows of all their best moments here at camp and their very own waiters, our counsellors!
After a delicious Prom Night banquet it was time to begin the festivities, the whole camp met in the auditorium and the show began with the Greenie dance, closely followed by an awesome display by our dance camp who have worked so hard over the past few weeks practicing their moves and perfecting their choreography. The final "Secret Friends" was an extra special one with a visit from Techno Ed and finally it was time for the campers to dance the night away, a perfect end to a fantastic summer break in the Alps!
- Breakfast: Boiled eggs, cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit
- Lunch: Chicken Nuggets, Fries, Spaghetti & Tomato Sauce, Huge selection of salad, Fruit & Brownies for desert.
- Dinner: Special Prom night banquet with table service by our counsellors, Steak, Steamed Vegetables, Roast Potatoes and Ice Cream for desert.
