United Nations!
This morning everyone woke up with high spirits as the sun shone down on VC Leysin, the campers had a running start this morning as the Reds and Blues headed to take in some of the stunning sights with morning of Mountain Biking or instead choosing to join our Climbing Specialists to conquer new heights and take on some rock climbing. The Yellows had a fun morning with Naceur our Archery Specialist while the Greenies joined our Art Counsellor Morgan for a morning of Tye Dye and Art.
In the Afternoon it was time to reveal the groups for our camps International Night, VC Leysin is happy to have campers from all corners of the world come to join us for the summer and to celebrate this tomorrow will be a day dedicated to sharing each others cultures and cuisine. This Afternoon the campers split off into their chosen groups and headed off for a huge game of Capture the Flag whilst others remained at camp to begin preparing the delicious foods from their home countries that will be presented tomorrow for the whole camp to enjoy.
As the sun set on another day in the Alps the Blues had some time to relax with a Movie while the Reds headed to a local Ice Skating Rink to glide their evening away. The Greens and Yellows headed to the Forest, to help defeat the dastardly "King Zing" and his band of "Zingettes", it was up to our campers to return the captured princess and gold with the help of their dashing Prince's!
- Breakfast: Pancakes and maple syrup, cereals, bread and spreads, fresh fruit, juices
- Lunch: Lasagne, pesto gnocci, pasta, tomato sauce, salad bar and blueberry muffins
- Dinner: Roast turkey, potato croquettes, sauted vegetables, pasta, tomato sauce, salad bar, carrot and celery soup and crepes
