Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
A jam packed day of fun and games!
This morning the Sport Campers headed to the sport center for handball and ultimate frisbee. Language Camp got into costume and spent their morning filming their skits they have been writing for Prom Night. Film Academy campers spent their morning editing their films and Dance Camp worked on a hip hop routine and their Prom Night performance.
The Yellow Adventure team returned in time for lunch from their overnight Mountain Hut Adventure, yesterday they braved the elements and managed to conquer the peak of Pic Chaussy where they reached 2330 meters in record breaking time! In the afternoon they enjoyed a delicious BBQ and campfire and settled in for the night for a few fun parlour games before bed. This morning they woke up bright and early and were treated to a delicious breakfast with fresh produce from the Hut and then set off for a relaxing hike down the mountain before heading back to camp.
Following a Taco Tuesday lunch and All Camp Meeting, the Reds and Yellows boarded the bus to their various sport sign ups. The Blue colour group got a chance to cool down with an evening at Lake Geneva for their Cool Blue activity where they spent their afternoon at the Aqua Park and chilling out with a BBQ cook out by the lake side.
The Greens left after lunch for an epic over night mountain hut adventure, however as the rain came in, they enjoyed their evening being cozy and warm playing fun indoor games after dinner. The Yellows went down to the college gym for a few outrageous games of dodgeball, finishing with a game of campers vs counsellors dodgeball. The Reds stayed at the VC building playing Trivia.
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, toast
- Lunch: Taco Tuesday! Beef and Veg tacos, pasta, tomato sauce, carbonara sauce, salad bar, strawberry sponge cake, fresh melon
- Dinner: Roast chicken, french fries, peas, salad bar, soup, blueberry muffins and fresh fruit
