Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Mountain adventures, World Cup tournament, and Spy Kids!
The Greenies started the day with a yoga session in the dance studio followed by some art and crafts. Following lunch they headed off to the auditorium for their Big Green Activity, where they completed a series of fun tasks as a team! Sport Camp headed down to the sport center to test their fitness through a BLEEP test and a timed agility test and finished off their session playing handball.
The Yellow and Blue Adventure Campers had an early start this morning as they set off on their overnight Mountain Hut adventure, where they would spend the day conquering the mountain, followed by a BBQ dinner and roasting marshmallows over the campfire, then enjoyed a tranquil nights rest in the mountain hut in the hills.
In the evening the Greenies delved into the world of investigation as they tried to solve the mystery of "where our captive counsellors have been taken" in an exciting game of Spy Kids. Teams had to pass through a hall way of lazer beams, take down the bad guys with tennis balls, gather evidence and unlock the code! The Yellows who remained at camp went for an evening hike for their campfire experience with smores, banana boats and a beautiful mountain view. For the Reds and Blue colour groups, they took on the much anticipated "World Cup", where the campers split off into teams and competed against each other to see which team could become this summers soccer world champions!
- Breakfast: Porridge, cereals, toast, fresh fruit and juices
- Lunch: Spinach cannelloni, spaghetti bolognaise, salad bar, cake & fruit salad
- Dinner: Beef ragu, pasta, couscous, salad bar and swiss log
