Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
All aboard VC!
Today was an all camp excursion day with all four colour groups heading out of Leysin to explore a little more of Switzerland!
The Greens and Yellows boarded the bus for a morning in Vevey where they went shopping and enjoyed a beautiful scenic lunch by Lake Geneva. Following lunch in a park, they boarded their buses for a jam packed afternoon in the Labyrinthe Aventure Park where they were let lose to enjoy many enflatable obstacle courses, arcade games, sumo, trampolines and much more! After a fun day away, both groups returned back to camp for popcorn and movies in the comfort of their blankets and bean bags.
The Reds had an early start this morning for Broc to explore "Le Maison de Cailler", a chocolate museum that is the birthplace to Switzerland's most loved chocolate "Cailler". The groups were taken on an interactive tour exploring the history of chocolate before moving through areas where they could see the actual chocolate being made, and of course no chocolate factory tour would be complete without a taste test! Afterwards they spent a little time exploring Vevey and finally a stop in Lausanne for some free time exploring the streets and shops before returning to camp.
The Blues had a huge day, exploring "Nest" a museum dedicated to Henri Nestle creator of one of Switzerland's most world renowned brand "Nestle", in this very new museum you are taken in a walk through time following the life of Henri Nestle in an amazing mix of interactive games, history and technology. The Blues then got to kick back for some bowling before heading back to camp.

- Lunch: Picnic sandwich lunch, granola bar, salad, juices
- Dinner: Turkey, roast potatoes, cauliflower, pasta and tomato sauce, salad bar, spinach soup and fruit salad for dessert
