Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's Olympic Festival Friday!
The big day all of our athletes have been looking forwards to is finally here! Our olympians took a moment to compose themselves in the morning with a little relaxing face painting, forest fun and archery and then it was time for the games to begin!
After a traditional torch lighting ceremony the torch left camp in the hands of it's capable runners who carried the flame all the way through town to Leysin's very own Olympic stadium, the sports centre!
Our athletes showed off the chants and banners they had all been working so hard on throughout the week and then it was straight into the games, campers were awarded medals for competing in team events like relay races, tug of war and buggy up but the games did not end there as back at camp the contest continued with our carnival night where they could win medals playing monster munch, human ring toss, hot shots and more!
The athletes can sleep well tonight knowing how incredible everyone did today and keep their fingers crossed for the results!

- Lunch: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Salad Bar, Baked Potatoes, Fruits and Tart
- Dinner: Fish Fingers, Tartare Sauce, Potatoes, Tortelini, Mac & Cheese, Profiteroles, Fruit
