Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
An Action Packed Day.
We were met this morning with a slight overcast. This morning the English language class ventured into town to do a Scavenger Hunt were they had the alphabet and had to find anything which corresponded with the first letter. They had to write where they found it and an interesting fact about it. Everyone was very creative with their answers and made them think about the spelling of the word. Just before lunch everyone signed up to select what country they would like to represent in next weeks International Night.
After a great lunch the reds went on an extreme challenge which involved going around the forest in two teams looking for clues to progress onto the next stage. On the final stage the two teams were given the task of building a raft for two apples called Sally and Dave. They then had to race their rafts down the river. Everyone really enjoyed the challenges and the competition. Also elsewhere the yellows went on a hike up the mountain to witness some stunning views, also the greenies were preparing for their mega slumber party tonight and their teddies were invited too. The blues had a fitness day and were all tired out but had lots of fun.
After dinner the Yellows went to play an a great game of dodgeball and the blues and reds had an awesome night at the Graffiti Night which involved beat-boxing and art work. And the Greenies had a cozy sleep over with lots of bedtime stories.
