Rain, Rain Go Away!
Sunday is usually Pool Day here at Village Camps, however the weather had other ideas.
The Blues normally go to a different pool to the rest of the camp, so they were able to hop on a coach and head down to the indoor pool for the day. The rest of the camp started their day with a variety of fun activities, the Greens were in Gym playing games, the Yellows went Ice Skating and the Reds were either swimming or playing racquet sports.
After lunch and the all camp meeting the carnival began. All around the building were different stalls for the campers to visit. They could compete against one an other or their counsellors in an eclectic mix of exciting games and challenges.
Once everyone was back at camp and had their evening meal the activities could start once again. The Greens, Yellows and Blues all had separate Movie Nights, they came together as colour groups to relax in front of a good movie with a bowl of popcorn. The Reds had to get their thinking caps on for their Trivia night which was ran by their counsellors.
- Breakfast: Cereal, Yogurt, Fruit, Bread, Cheese, Juice
- Lunch: Sandwich Picnic
- Dinner: Chicken, Rice, Pasta, Soup, Salad, Fruit
