The Action Picks Up And The Cloud Clears
Today's been an active day all round! Everyone woke up with their world menacingly enveloped in cloud but preparations for the day continued. The Greenie's day has revolved around their expedition to the Leysin mountain hut nestled up in the mountains. At their destination they enjoyed games and fire-toasted marshmallows before making the hut their home for the night.
The Sporty Yellows, Reds and Blues played floor hockey and dodgeball in the morning while the Adventure Yellows climbed the quarry and practised archery. In the afternoon the Yellows chose from their usual wide selection of sports and arts before getting together in the evening for Eggstreme Games... a set of team challenges including mad football and juggling skillz, extreme face-painting, fitness, and the amazingly physically demanding SPLAT!
The Adventure Reds braved the morning mist to go mountain biking before all the Reds took part in a Photo Scavenger Hunt around Leysin village, just as the clouds finally cleared. Their evening was spent ice skating at the local rink.
Survival was the focus of the Adventure Blues in the morning before they joined the rest in a trip to Aquaparc. With a huge variety of water slides, pools, steam rooms and saunas, and access to a beach on the shores of Lake Geneva, Aquaparc has something for everyone... including the fearsome Booster Loop! Their Trivia Night ended with a fashion show and the always hilarious game of HaHa. All camp fingers are crossed for this afternoon's sun to continue as we head towards the weekend.
