Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
The Rain Has Come But The Fun Continues
Today Mother Nature snuck some rain in to Switzerland, but it hasn't dampened our spirits and the activities went ahead as planned. In the morning the Sports campers from Yellows, Reds and Blues joined forces for basketball and football. The Greenies went climbing, the dancers danced and the Yellow Adventurers made a soggy return from their camp-out. The Red Adventurers honed their survival skills in the woods by building shelters, making fire and cooking dough balls, while the Blues practised archery with our expert Naceur.
After lunch and a dry off it was back to action for the Reds with a selection of tennis, squash, bouldering, golf, swimming or kick boxing. It was then the Blues' turn to try their hands at survival, parkour and more archery. The Yellows split the afternoon between ice skating and games while the Greenies enjoyed a spot of face-painting.
While the rain poured after dinner the Yellows were hurling foam balls at each other in an epic evening of dodgeball and the Blues were carving up the ice rink. The Reds moved from challenge station to challenge station within the building and the Greenies took in a movie and had an early night. The sun may not make a return tomorrow but more fun is a guarantee!
