Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Another Sunny Day in Switzerland
The good weather arrived and has lasted throughout the whole day which was great for all the exciting outdoor activities we had planned for the campers.
As usual the language kids had their fun filled lessons, the dance campers got into a groove and the tennis kids headed down to the courts. The Blue sport and adventure campers had an exhilarating morning of rafting, the Red and Yellows had loads of fun walking between the treetops on a high ropes course and the Greens enjoyed the nature as they hiked back from the Mountain Hut where they had stayed the night before. The Greens had a great time; they had a camp fire, roasted marshmallows and played a ton of games.
In the afternoon the Greens went for a swim then heading down into the village for some shopping. The rest of the campers started preparing for the International night, half of them stayed in the building and the others played capture the flag in the forest. The prep involved making flags and props, cooking foods from the countries they were representing and practising a skit.
After dinner, all the campers put on their dancing shoes for an all camp Disco. Greens and Blues, Reds and Yellows, all the kids had a chance to let their hair down and move to the music. It was great to see all the kids together in one place all having a wonderful time.
