Summer Camp England

24th July 2019

Excursions!

Yesterday, almost all of our programmes enjoyed a day off-site! Golfers and Horse Riders went to their usual training spots while Performing Arts stayed in, rehearsing and adding the final touches to their Friday performance. The Basketball team went to Leeds Derby and Football left for Manchester. Creative Arts and English went to York and enjoyed a day of shopping and Escape Rooms!

Finally, the Adventure campers packed their bags and left early for Ripley Castle, where they enjoyed a day packed of camp-related activities like hiking, toasting marshmallows or sleeping under the starts. We hope they had a rest sleep in their tents! Our Greenies also went to Tropical World, a zoo in Leeds, before joining the camp-out.

For those campers who stayed at camp, we had a variety of activities like friendship bracelet making, tie dye, circus or frisbee. In the evening, the Reds had an exciting session of water games, the Blues enjoyed movie night and the Yellows played some games all together!
