Summer Camp England
Big Night Draw!
Last night was Carnival Night, and wow what a night! Face paint and games galore. There was a bouncy castle, as well as an assault course, then a mix of your usual carnival games, like bat the rat and high pounder! Many people were dressed to impress, and we even had an appearance from our very own superman! This morning things quietened down for morning programmes, but the level of excitement was still high! Activity and Adventure stayed on site this morning, and had a sensory challenge, which they played in teams. Testing their senses with various activities designed to make them aware of how dependent we are on each of our senses. Performing Arts were in the theater having a dance class for part of the morning, which was a great success, and we definitely have a talented group of dancers in our midst! This afternoon we had our all camp meeting, and the BIG NIGHT draw. BIG NIGHT is our VC equivalent of the olympics, 6 teams of different themes and colours competing against each other for the glory (and a pizza party) this Friday! The teams that came up were: Red Mer-people, Blue Avatars, Black Ewoks, White Astronauts, Green Beavers and Yellow Gangsters! Good luck everyone! That leads us to this evenings activities, which will be split between planning for BIG NIGHT and preparation for International Night which is on Tuesday! Lots to do, but so excited for all these upcoming events!
