Summer Camp England

4th July 2012

Another great morning had by all!

This morning campers went off for the third day of morning programmes, as excited and keen as ever. Performing Arts spent some of their morning learning Hip-Hop dance with our dance specialist Kevin, while LTC are away on an excursion for the day to work on some team-building skills at a high ropes course! Creative arts campers are doing extremely well and already starting to produce some beautiful pieces that will hopefully be on display soon! Activity and Adventure had a day exploring the senses, doing different games to highlight how much we really rely on our hearing, sight, sound, touch and smell! I can imagine crawling through tunnels and round an obstacle course blindfolded was pretty challenging, but with the help and guidance of their team mates everyone made it round successfully!

The English programme is looking great, divided into four classes; the Elementary class were working on their spelling and time telling skills, with a game of musical pass the parcel! The Pre-Intermediate level was practicing their listening and pronunciation skills by singing a raucous rendition of 'There's nothing like Australia'! While the Intermediate group were doing a virtual tour of Britain with their teacher Lynsey and went on to plan tours of their own countries!

Tonight we are looking forward to finding out our teams for BIG NIGHT which is coming up on Friday, and also preparing for International Night! Very excited to see what everyone comes up with!
