Summer Camp Chiclana, Spain
DAY 9
After the warm up, the Surfers went to the water, the waves were quite big today, and the kids raised the challenge and did very well.
In Spanish class, campers learned terminology for clothing and gained the tools to describe what they, and others, were wearing. After a brief lesson the class walked the grounds at Complejo Campano and admired the fashion styles being represented in our international environment.
Adventure camp was about Orienteering, the campers were taught four basic skills that they need to help their progress with orienteering: Compass reading, bearing, map reading and always have fun!
After lunch and All Camps Meeting, the campers had all the afternoon to prepare the International Night to represent all the Camp Countries.
Before dinner, we enjoyed a water balloon battle to cool down the hot weather.
Finally at the International Night, all the Campers had the chance to represent their respective countries. The performances were impressive, they included, history lessons, dances, acts, songs and more!
