Summer Camp Chiclana, Spain
Excursion to Cadiz! Old city centre and AquaLand
Today started with a much appreciated sleep in after such a busy week of learning, exploring and activity. Happy smiles filled the dining hall this morning and we even had two rounds of Happy Birthday sung for our birthday girl Olga.
This morning we all headed out to the historical city centre of Cadiz. An incredible port city filled with old buildings and rich history, Cadiz offered both a change in scenery, and an opportunity to explore for the kids. They had some free time to wander around and do some shopping, (there was lots and lots of ice cream to be had) and some of them even took in some of the sights, heading up to the top of the Cathedral for an incredible view of the city.
This afternoon we headed to AquaLand for some much needed cooling off and lots of fun. The park just opened in June so it was brand new and full of twirling and whirling water slides, a lazy river and a wave pool. We chilled out for the afternoon, taking in the fun and relaxing in the shade when needed.
This evening we got into our colour groups to play some relaxing board games and activities after a busy day of sun and fun. Charades, scattergories and uno to name a few.
Tomorrow is another fun filled day with an excursion to do some whale and dolphin watching! Can't wait!
