Summer Camp Ardèche, France
Sunny day in the Ardeche!
Today was a sunny and warm day. The campers woke up, ate a delicious breakfast and were ready to start off an exciting day full of adventure!
The French language students had the opportunity to chat and interview with Eric, a caving specialist who knows the local caves extremely well. They asked him not only about concepts and technicalities, but also inquired him about his experience, preferences and tips. All of this was extremely useful because in the afternoon, they got to visit one of the caves in the area and live total darkness and silence for themselves. As described by one of the campers, it was a once in a life experience!
Meanwhile, some of the River campers headed off for a day of Via Ferrata, an adventurous activity full of adrenaline! The others stayed at camp and practiced archery mixed with arts and crafts, and played several ball games in the afternoon, such as football and Gaga ball.
For dinner we had two special visitors, the Tooth Fairies, who read out our Secret Friends notes of today. The day was topped off with an intense live game of Clue, where the campers, in teams of 3, were challenged to solve a mysterious crime through a thorough but quite funny investigation.
It has been a beautiful day, and we are all ready for an even more fun day tomorrow at - Aqualand! Good night, and thank you for this fun day.
