The programme features multi-activity programmes for 10-17 year olds that enjoy exploring the great outdoors.

In the mornings, for about 3 hours every week-day, campers follow an organised programme with various challenging activities. The activity choice is based on the age and skill level of individual campers who have to perform different skills tests such as swimming, climbing and biking in order to assign them to a group with similar skills level.

Safety Matters - Qualified Staff

Our trained counsellors work as a team under the leadership of an experienced Village Camps Programme Coordinator who ensures a vital emphasis on safety, high quality equipment and appropriate clothing and equipment for the campers.

The Village Camps’ team is assisted by fully qualified local specialist staff with first-hand knowledge of the terrain when taking part in specialist activities/sports.

Accommodation, Excursions & Activities

The 80-capacity Chalet Notburgahof is in a delightful setting in the rural village of Piesendorf, close to the international, lakeside resort of Zell am See. The Chalet has fully-equipped on-site multi-purpose gym for sports and evening activities, as well as language classrooms, internet café, conference room, tennis and badminton courts.

The excursion highlights include a day trip to visit Salzburg, a trek to Sigmund Thun Klam Gorge, a visit to the Welten Museum.

There are a variety of afternoon and evening activities both in Camp and outdoors, which campers from all programmes participate in together. These all camp activities are organised and supervised by Village Camp counsellors.
