Daily Camp Blog – 14th July

As usual, the day began with a 7:30 a.m. wake-up, followed by breakfast and the morning meeting before campers headed off to their different activities.

Campers enrolled in the Language Camp attended their English or German lessons with their teachers, while the rest of the groups enjoyed a variety of outdoor adventures. One group took part in survival activities in the mountains, developing teamwork and problem-solving skills in a natural environment. Our oldest campers travelled to a specialised archery range, where they practised their shooting skills under the guidance of qualified instructors and with the support of our staff. Meanwhile, another group headed to the lake to enjoy a stand-up paddleboarding session, beginning with a lesson from experienced instructors before putting their new skills into practice on the water.

After lunch and a well-deserved break, campers were divided into smaller groups, each accompanied by a group leader, to prepare the evening activity. Every team was challenged to create a short performance representing a famous mountain from a different country, sharing interesting facts and characteristics through a fun and creative presentation. The activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and public speaking while allowing everyone to learn more about mountains from around the world.

To finish another fantastic day, campers gathered together to watch one of the FIFA World Cup semi-finals, enjoying the exciting atmosphere and cheering on their favourite teams before heading to bed ready for another day of adventure.
